Accident Insurance Configuration: LAA and IJM
Accident and sickness benefits (IJM) provide essential protection for employees and reduce the financial risks to the employer in the event of an accident or illness. This article details how to set up these insurances in Odoo V17, to ensure a compliant and efficient payroll management.
Configuration de la LAA (Accident Professionnel et Non Professionnel)
To configure family benefits, go to Pay >> Configuration >> AAP/AANP or LAAC insurance or IJM insurance, depending on the insurance you are configuring. The logic is essentially the same.
Create your new insurance, and fill in the mandatory and optional fields. Below is an example of AAP/AANP insurance.

Conseils Pratiques
Please think about filling in as many lines as you have of case of figure within your company. The rates applied are not the same depending on the trades. You can then define the insurance policy on the employee form.
Once these fields are completed, add a row to the LAA table and fill in the required information in the window with its mandatory and optional fields.
Finally, fill in the deadlines, the defined threshold, the appropriate H/F rates, as well as the employer’s participation (0%, 50% or 100%).
