SH-ENTREPRISE is a major player in home improvement in the French West Indies and Guyana, operating through three distinct business areas:

  • A network of shops specialising in bedding, sofas and household linen, under the TROPIC LITERIE and L'ATELIER DU CONFORT banners.
  • AVM Saint Barthélémy, a workshop for the manufacture and installation of aluminium joinery.
  • Property management and development.

Faced with the need to centralise information, optimise internal processes and facilitate collaboration between geographically dispersed teams, SH-ENTREPRISE decided to implement Odoo, a flexible and scalable ERP. The aim was to simplify the management of sales, accounting and project management, while providing greater visibility for the company's directors.

Odoo is still being rolled out, but a number of tangible results have already been observed:

  • Improved sales and stock management : Odoo has made it possible to centralise sales and stock information in TROPIC LITERIE and L'ATELIER DU CONFORT shops, providing real-time visibility of stock levels and sales.
  • Centralised, up-to-date accounting : Accounting is now managed in rel time, enabling SH-ENTREPRISE to accurately monitor financial flows and optimise cash management. Certain activities that were previously outsourced, such as structural accounting, have been brought back in-house thanks to Odoo.
  • Simplification of joinery manufacturing and installation processes : Odoo's project management module has facilitated planning, order management and site monitoring for AVM Saint Barthélémy, reducing errors and improving the efficiency of teams on the ground.
  • Improved property management : Odoo's project management module has enabled SH-ENTREPRISE to better manage the promotion and management of property assets, ensuring more accurate monitoring of project stages and smooth communication between the various players involved.
